Quachimontones, ein schwieriges Wort für deutsche Zungen. Nicht weniger als Teuchitlán, der Ort, bei dem die Quachimontones liegen.

Auf der Fahrt nach Guadalajara machen wir bei diesen Pyramiden halt. Wegen ihrer Form unterscheiden sie sich deutlich von all den übrigen Ruinen in Mexiko. Wir machen ein paar Stunden Station und genießen die Ruhe und den Frieden, die von den Bauwerken und der Landschaft ausgehen.

Los Quachimontones

Una palabra difícil para lenguas españolas. Igual como el nombre de Teuchitlán, el pueblo, donde se encuentran los Quachimontones.

En el camino a Guadalajra nos paramos en este sitio. Por su forma las pirámides se diferencian obviamente de todas las otras ruinas en México. Nos quedamos aca un par de horas y disfrutamos de la tranquilidad y de la paz, que irradian estos edificios y el paisaje.

Los Quachimontones

Quachimontones, a difficult word for English tongues like Teuchitlán, the village where the Quachimontones are located.

On the way to Guadalajara we take a stop in this place. Because of their shape the pyramids differentiate themselves clearly from all the other pyramids in Mexico. We stay here for a couple of hours and enjoy the tranquility and the peace, which are radiated by these buildings.
